Fireworks, Fountains and July 4 BBQ! Celebrate Fourth of July 2022 Near Canvas in King of Prussia

After several years without celebrations due to COVID-19, Chester County is ready to celebrate this Fourth of July with fireworks displays, carnivals and more. Here are three events to check out this year while celebrating the Fourth of July near Canvas.

Upper Merion Carnival and Fireworks

This Jul 4, 2022, enjoy an Independence Day celebration like no other in the area. Upper Merion Parks and Recreation (one of the best Parks and Rec departments in Montgomery County) is hosting a Fourth of July Carnival from 1 p.m. to 10 With fireworks beginning at dusk. 

Throughout the day, food and drinks will be available including a beer garden, provided by Workhorse Brewing Co., and a variety of food trucks will be available starting at 4 p.m. including; Carmona Mobile Foods, Gourmet Jerk Shack, Hedgehog Grill, Impresso Coffee, Kono Pizza, Petrucci’s, and 2 Street Sammies. Longwood Gardens Fireworks and Fountains

Before the actual holiday, be sure to stop by our favorite Chester County destination, Longwood Gardens, July 3 at 9:15 p.m. for a “Fireworks and Fountains” display said to be truly memorable. Independence Day Celebration at Historic Waynesborough

Also on Sunday, July 3 from noon to 3 p.m., PhilaLandmarks and Historic Waynesborough invite the community for a free Independence Day celebration at the Historic Waynesborough for a catered picnic, serving BBQ foods and more.

Lawn games, house tours and the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution will present their Color Guard with their collection of historic flags beginning at 1 p.m. Learn more about July 3 at Waynesborough.
